This historic 11-day driving adventure begins in the glorious capital of the United States, Washington DC.
Enjoy the city's famous monuments, spend hours in the impressive museums, and choose from many fabulous eateries.
Continue on through Virginia's lush rolling countryside to Shenandoah Valley, home to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Next it's on to Charlottesville, where you can visit Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello, described as one of
the country's foremost architectural masterpieces. Head to Richmond, one of the most handsome capitals in the South,
where attractions include boutiques, museums, a theme cruise on the James River, and family theme parks.
Spend time in Williamsburg where “must sees" include Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. Round out
your trip with two nights in Virginia Beach, where you can visit the Virginia Marine Science Museum,
Assateague Island, or Norfolk Botanical Gardens and perhaps take a relaxing stroll along the beach.
